Ofelia’s POV The charity gala ended with a standing ovation. The ballroom echoed with applause as the final donation total appeared on the large screen behind the stage. The amount was far beyond the foundation’s goal, and the room erupted into cheers. Victoria covered her mouth with both hands, tears shining in her eyes. “We did it,” she whispered.
