Damien’s POV The office door slammed behind Ofelia with a sharp bang that echoed through the empty top floor. Silence rushed in, but it didn’t bring peace. I remained standing exactly where I had caught her, my arms still remembering the feel of her waist. Her scent lingered in the air—sweet, warm, and now mixed with the sharp edge of anger and hurt.
