I couldn't seem to stop my body from trembling.
I listened as the men in the room shouted out prices to claim me.
I shut out their voices and tried to think about the one person who kept me sane throughout this entire nightmare...John.
I kept telling myself that he was coming to save me.Which was insane,considering he probably didn't even know I was missing.Not that he would come for me,even if he knew I was kidnapped.
I hadn't been myself ever since he left me that day.I had convinced myself that John had no feelings for me and was really just doing his job.
However that thought made it even more difficult for me to get over him.I couldn't accept the thought of John not caring for me.
