Lyra nodded in agreement, her gaze filled with care and love. "I never knew you'd take a bullet for me," she whispered. Harrison's eyes softened. "Same here," he whispered. Their eyes locked, the air thick with emotion. Then Lyra's expression changed. She frowned, remembering Piper's words earlier. "I'll let you go rest," Lyra whispered, pulling her hand free. Harrison's grip tightened, stopping her in her tracks. "What happened?"
