I felt so overwhelmed by everything that was happening in the palace right now and dealing with James was making it worse. Now that we knew that the test results were out I just couldn’t wait to close this chapter and move on to the next thing. However, I knew that knowing the outcome of the results didn’t necessarily mean that I would finally be able to get rid of James. Chances were that we would be stuck with him for life.
I was hoping that the test results would say that he wasn’t related to Laila but I knew that the chances of that being the case were very slim. Even though Laila hadn’t said it, I know that she was also convinced that James was her brother and I felt like hoping that he wasn’t was like taking something valuable from her.
