I tried reasoning with Laila and made her see that there was no way around this for us. I could understand her concerns and why she was scared to go through with the surgery but it wasn’t like we had any other choice. The fact that she was adamant about not having the babies delivered through surgery scared me to the point that I thought maybe she had a point, that maybe she had reason to be scared but we really didn’t have any other choice but to do this. I knew that she didn’t want to lose the pups and another did I, that was the reason why I made the decision that I had made risking her being mad at me for all eternity. Hopefully, she would see the reason once the pups were delivered.
