I hated the idea of Laila going back to the apartment that she bought when we were apart but I had to accept the fact that I didn’t have much of a say in the matter. I still felt like this was all my fault because it was my parents who had upset her.
The alpha in me wanted to tell her she wasn’t going anywhere and force her to stay with me but I had committed to staying in the human territory with her and therefore I had to abide by their rules. I had committed to living like a human with her and I guess this was normal to humans.
