DYLAN’S POV
After hearing that James was back in town I contemplated going to fetch Laila from her friend. It seemed obvious to me that he was only back because he knew that Laila and I were back here. This meant that he had never taken his eyes off her, this meant that whatever Theo had done to him or said to him never worked.
Was he still obsessed with my mate? Was he still determined to win her over and take her from me? I almost laughed at myself for entertaining such thoughts, there was no way that Laila would even entertain a wolf like him. There was now that she would leave me for him, but then again she was human and maybe he had stayed here for so long because he knew that humans liked him.
I had to find him before he found her or before she saw him. I didn't want to alarm her
