I did not regret the decision that I made regarding my future with Laila. I wasn’t going to allow her to leave me again because of my parents especially because I didn’t agree with what they had done. I was aware that my decision was not only going to affect my parents but the entire kingdom but my reasoning was that I wasn’t any good to them if I wasn't happy or satisfied with my life. I couldn’t lead them without a mate, and I refused to live my life without Laila. I had to be selfish and take care of my mate, I had to put her first no matter what anyone thought about it. If I listened to anyone who told me to leave Laila because it was too much trouble I would be a proven fool, if I broke my mate bond with her it would take me forever to get another mate
