After Theo took Laila back to the room I tried to get my mind off things by keeping myself busy but it wasn’t really working. I hated the fact that she was upset with me and the fact that things had turned out this way. I knew that I had been hoping for too much when I hoped that she would understand where I was coming from but I never expected her to be this upset with me. I never expected her to resort to threatening to leave me.
