When Laila and I woke up the following morning, there was blood on the sheets from when I broke her virginity. However, I had been worried sick about her the whole night and was barely able to get my sleep. The fact that she was human was what worried me.
I didn’t know what effect my mark would have on her and the worst thing that could happen was if it affected her negatively. I was regretting the fact that I hadn’t done my research before marking her.
