LAILA'S POV
After hearing Dylan’s mother and Evelyn discuss their evil plan I knew that I had to say something to Dylan. I felt so bad that I had even entertained the idea of him fathering a child with another woman or cheating on me, it was now as clear as daylight to me that this had all been a setup and I had walked right into the trap. Dylan had proven his loyalty to me so many times already and I didn't have a reason to not believe him. I wished I had remembered this when all this started.
There was no use in crying over spilled milk now because I had to make things right. I had to make up with Dylan so that we could figure out what the way forward for us was. When I went to his office to speak to him he wasn’t there so I just went back to the room that I shared with him and waited.
