I was feeling so much better about my situation now that Amaya was here with me. Of course, she wasn’t strong enough to protect me from the wolves, but I figured they wouldn’t try to do anything as long as she was there with me. One thing I knew for a fact was that they didn’t want to be discovered by us humans or expose themselves to too many people.
