DYLAN’S POV
I couldn’t believe the nerve that Theo had, how dare he try to scare my mate away? What exactly was he trying to accomplish both telling her all the things that he told her? Not only was he scaring her but he was also making me seem like a liar. The things that he was telling her about my mother and the pack made it seem like I came from a family of monsters. He was just talking without thinking things through and I had had enough of him.
“I am so sorry about that” I apologized to Laila as I took her to the room. She seemed more scared that angry with me.
“Why would he say all those things to me? Did he like Evelyn?” she asked me and I shrugged.
“Everyone liked Evelyn, she was just a sweet innocent girl when I brought her here,” I said
