DYLAN’S POV
I couldn’t believe that Laila had just tried to bid farewell to me as if she was about to die, as if I was going to allow her to die and leave me alone. After everything we had been through I thought she would fight a little harder to stay alive. I thought she would try a little harder to stay with me now especially because we had just lost one of our babies.
I wasn’t sure who to blame for this but I couldn’t help blaming myself. However I also blamed the doctor because I felt like he had failed to handle this situation well from the very beginning.
