The sun was setting, and night was about to fall. William and the Alpha King were not back yet. Sky felt Mystic’s eyes on her. What were they going to do? She didn’t know.
Ruby looked at her too. They moved into the house a few hours ago, sitting in the lounge, because they couldn’t linger outside. Ruby was getting suspicious she could tell that something was going on. Sky didn’t want to tell her. She didn’t want her involved in this. She didn’t want another person that she cared about being in danger.
“We should get going,” Mystic said. She got to her feet. Sky got to her feet too. They walked to the door.
“Where are you going?” Ruby asked rushing after them. “You can’t just leave. Its dangerous out here.”
