They were all waiting for the big moment. William looked around him as everyone anxiously waited to hear the first cry of the baby. He wished Sky was there with him to experience it. But she had to go and see her friend. William hoped that she could help her. Carrie was hurting and she was going through it alone.
“God this is nerve racking,” James said. He was pacing the hallway a few paces from the door that Gina and Luke were in. “I’m going to wait outside.” He said walking out.
They could all hear Gina struggling in there. The last few days of her pregnancy had been difficult. William had hoped that the delivery would be simple. But it sounded like it wasn’t.
“She’s going to be fine,” Mikaela said looking at the door. Marcus sat next to her, and he nodded not doubting her words.
