I stood in the backyard of my Ravendale’s mansion,carefully arranging the superhero-themed decorations for Rowan and Rhys's birthday party. The twins would be turning eight tomorrow, and I wanted everything to be perfect.
Astrid was helping me hang colorful streamers between the tall oak trees while Alexis sat nearby on a blanket, coloring birthday cards for her brothers.
