I was beyond relieved by the time Friday came around. Spending most of the week indoors learning how to do the books and investigating the missing money had taken its toll. Sean had declared me ready last night and although I didn’t quite believe him, he had promised that he was always just a phone call away. I was more than ready to spend the day doing nothing, but I had other duties I needed to catch up on. Plus, I had a date with my mate to plan.
