Marcus’ POV I woke up with the most awful pain in my head; my whole body ached all over, and I felt sick. A feeling of dread overwhelmed me. It was dark, and I had no clue where I was. As I sat up, I felt myself being pulled back and the sound of chains. I quickly realised that I was locked up. The smell of where I was made me growl. It reeked. I struggled against the chains, my head pounding with every movement. I tried to sit up straight, but the pain and fatigue made it difficult. Looking around, I saw I was in some dingy, damp cell.
