  Julian raised an eyebrow, that usual faint smirk tugging at his lips.   He took a step forward and spoke up, voice firm and clear. "Nathaniel, you're out here smearing Evelyn like it's your full-time job. But have you looked in the mirror?"   "Aren't you even filthier?" he shot back.   Nathaniel's expression turned pale. Just one look from Julian was enough to shut him down.   Without missing a beat, Julian pulled out his phone, turned on Bluetooth, and synced it to the projector.   In the next second, a slideshow started. Slowed down to half-speed, each image and document played out in painful, deliberate detail.   "We're talking back when you'd barely started dating Evelyn—less than a month in—and you were already getting cozy with Emily." Julian's tone dripped with mockery.   N
