20 – Office Fun
The joint party was amazing. We all had such a great time, Jenny and Doug were a little worse for wear the morning after, not sure the last time the suffered from a hang over.
The wedding is Saturday and we fly out for our honeymoon on the Monday so I’m in meetings for the rest of the week with all my team to make sure they can cope while I’m away. Alex has been out the last two full days checking in with the newest clients before we go away. He is supposed to be meeting me for lunch and as usual he is late.
“I’m sorry babe. The traffic out there is a killer today" he says as he walks into the reception.
“you did know about those roads works, I told you this morning they were starting " I say shaking my head at him as we walk to the canteen hand and hand.
