Everett We walk in silence. An awkward silence. How did we become like this? You would think we were strangers who had only met, and it couldn’t be further from the truth. Aubrey is in a little world of her own. She isn’t watching where she is going, not really. It is why I am keeping a close eye on her. It is a good thing because the next thing she trips over something and nearly face plants to the floor.
