The ride back home was the complete opposite of the ride we had earlier. There was no tension in the air, no bad feelings between us and no conflict or confusion in my heart. It was the perfect feeling, the perfect feeling of peace that I had been craving for such a long time. I was joyful and happy and I could not have honestly asked for anything more.
