“Genesis….” Paaa......I didn’t know who moved. Me or her. But the sting against my cheek had me whipping my head to the side. “I am sorry.” I turned back to her. But she was walking away. I stood there, feeling miserable and sorry for myself. Unsure of what to do next. To follow her or simply let her breathe. When I couldn’t handle the thought of her anger towards me, I went after her. The moment I got to the door of her bedroom, she came walking out.
