Of course, I agreed to go shopping with Jordan because he asked me again. But I couldn’t say that I was not worried. My excitement from earlier was drained and the energy around us was different from early. He tried to cover it up by smiling, but that didn’t reach his eyes. And sometimes, he forgot himself and simply just frowned. The sudden gloominess was ruining the day and I wondered if I should have just declined when he asked me to join him. I could tell that he was thinking of Samantha. It made me feel like s**t. Just the mention of her name totally made me feel like a girl stealing another girl’s man. I was legally married to Jordan, yes, but his heart and soul belonged to that wretched woman and no matter what he said, he would not just forget about her and move on.
