(No-one POV)
Silence followed suit as Noah looked around the darkroom. Small shuffling can be heard but other than that it was silent.
“H-hello?” Noah finally voiced out, his voice quivering.
“H-ello?!” he tried again when there was no answer.
“Hai!” A cheerful voice rang through his ear.
He jumped back as he felt the voice so close to him.
“Wh-who … Who are you?” Noah asked his heart beating fast.
“My name is Veronica. What is yours?” The girl asked as Noah turned silent.
“Noah” he finally said as the girl giggled.
“How old are you?” she asked.
“6 and you?” Noah asked back.
“5 and half,” she said and there was once again silence between them.
“Do you want to play with me?” she asked after some time.
“I’m chained and I can’t see” Noah answered.
“Oh right you can’t see in the
