I needed a few seconds to get back to my senses.
I stood up and I tried to run, but my whole body felt numb and I fell. Fear went through my veins. I felt like I was lost. Shiloh didn’t make a move at all. I knew that she didn't want to help me. I just laid on my back and I wasn’t able to move. I was paralysed. I could only see her walking closer to me, still with a smile. I looked into her eyes, and I could only form the word “why” with my lips.
Her smile disappeared, and with a movement she made me sit up and she pushed me back to a tree. It hurt. I was sure my alpha blood helped me to endure it. But she didn’t finish.
With that unknown power, she made me lift my head up, and she stared at me for a little while.
