CASSIAN had just entered the mansion after giving instructions to the pack warriors outside. He saw Isla in the living room.
“Isla.”
“Alpha?”
“Take Seris to the mall today,” Cassian said, his hands shoved into his pockets. “Buy her everything she needs. Clothes, shoes, whatever. She was about to enter school.”
Isla tilted her head. Then a sly smile tugged at her lips. “Alpha, wouldn’t it be better if you went with her?”

“Alpha, Seris needs more than just things to wear. She needs to feel that you’re willing to walk beside her… even in the simplest matters. If you accompany her, you’re not just buying clothes, you’re building something deeper with her,” Isla said and smiled.
