Lincoln's POV ‘W . .what?’ I stammer, shocked. Shifting in her seat, the redhead gives me her full attention, her cheeks flushed but determination written all over her. ‘I hated having anyone think of you as my brother Lincoln, including Robyn. I just couldn’t allow her to put you in that box with everyone else, it was fine with Hallick, Callan, everyone else, but not with you.’ She smiles shyly, ‘from the moment I met you, I felt something, a feeling that I knew I had no right to feel. I kept you at arms length because to let you in?’ she blows out a breath, ‘it would have broken me when I would have had to leave you behind. Something about you drew me in, and when we had the moment, behind the bar? I knew that I had grossly underestimated just how easily I could have fallen for you.
