Abbey's POV Making our way through the small parking lot that has very few cars in it, Lincoln grabs a cart from beside the main entrance and we step inside. One of the artificial lights overhead flickers as together, we make our way toward the first aisle, ignoring the woman behind the register who is blowing bubbles with a piece of gum she’s chewing as she checks her nails, obviously bored. As we walk between the shelves, I start to grab a few random items, tossing them into the cart, noting the man that stands behind the deli counter out of the corner of my eye. He chats warmly to another man as he slices some turkey, the two chuckling as they trade barbs about what I assume are opposing football or baseball teams.
