Abbey’s POV It’s hours before the van starts to slow, by which time I’m in so much pain it’s unreal. The bones and muscles in my side are screaming from the unnatural position I’ve been laying in since Demitri pushed me over. With my hands and feet secured, I’ve been unable to do anything other than suffer through as my body started to protest.
