Abbey’s POV Terrified, that’s the only word to describe how I feel right now, unbelievably terrified. I meant what I said about trusting the guys, but that doesn’t make what I just agreed to do, any less damn scary. I hurry out of the office, leaving Lincoln and the other Cadell employees to finish up their meeting. My daughter looks up at me from her toybox, grinning as I smile over at her before sinking into the couch, trying to push away my anxiety.
