I have had a lot of time to thank over the last couple of weeks. My parents have moved back to the pack and have taken over as alpha and luna. While they are focusing on the administration of the pack, I have been focusing on the security of the pack. In a sense, I have been performing the duties of the gamma. I didn't have the heart to replace my Gamma after he left with his Luna. It hurt for him to leave like that, but I do understand the bond between a Gamma and his Luna. That bond is almost as strong as the mate bond, well in my case, it probably was stronger.
I can see that I have lost some of the respect of the pack members who stayed loyal to the pack. I think many of them would have left if my father had not returned and taken over. It pains me to admit that the pack I thought I w
