I woke the next morning to the alarm for training. I rolled over and to find a slightly confused River staring at me.
“So when did this happen?” He asked with a laugh.
“I had a nightmare and I needed somewhere safe to be.” I said shyly.
“My arms were the right place.” He said wrapping me up in his arms again.
The River stopped the alarm, and I was gonna get up when River said we were all exempt for the day. I snuggled into his warm chest and fell back asleep. A little while later. I hear River and the girl giggling. I sit up and see River and the girls bringing me breakfast in bed.
“Surize Mommy.” Cadi screamed.
“Not so loud Cadi.” River says with a giggle.
“Yeh Cadi not so louad” Cami says with a smile at River.
