After dinner and dessert Rebecca takes the girls upstairs for bath and a bedtime story. River and I settle in to watch Grease. I lay my head on River’s shoulder and he throws a blanket over us. After the movie is over, we head upstairs for bed.
We walk to the nursery and check on the girls. They are sound asleep looking so peaceful. I love that this place and these people have came into our lives and we finally have real peace and happiness. River and I go to our room.
I go into the closet and get my pj’s and head to the bathroom for a bath. After soaking I get dressed and brush my teeth and head to bed. I find River already sound asleep. I slip under the covers and am soon swallowed by Rivers arms. I fall asleep fast.
In the morning I wake to the alarm for training. I
