I receive a phone call from a number I don’t know. I answer and it is a man named Trevor and my skin is covered in goose bumps. I know this voice I heard it earlier. He tells me to come to outside the boarder he has a plan that may keep my girls safe.
I have no idea why I listen, but I do. My girls lives matter most to me in the world. Part of me resents them and only keeps them so Ronan can’t have them, but the other half loves them with all I have. I don’t want anyone to see me, so I climb out of the window of my office and shimmy down the drainpipe on the house.
I walk so that if anyone sees me, they won’t think anything about me taking a walk. I don’t see anyone the whole way. When I make it to the line, I stay just inside and tell Trevor to explain.
