Her Second Chance.

Chapter 4/ Back when...

Ronan POV

    Well, that took a turn. After Jasper asked me to make Graci our personal omega I thought maybe she was his mate. I have wanted her to be his for so long while they were growing up. But she is so beautiful and on her 18th birthday they didn’t announce their mateship I got all happy that she might be mine. But the night of her party when we touched the were no sparks.

    I’m 37 years old and still have not found my mate. When I was 18 my father married me off to a weaker Alpha’s daughter to strengthen our alliance and expand our territory. Alpha Kentala of the Black Paw pack was a weak man. A few months after marrying his daughter Jocelynn, she got pregnant with our son Jasper.

    When I was 20 and ready to take over, I had all the Alpha’s come to a meeting to introduce myself. Little did I know that Alpha Black’s beta would be my wife’s true mate. We had come to love each other through our son, and she was 3 months along with our twin daughters, but the moment they laid eyes on each other it was over.

     Most would just keep their mate as a lover in this situation, but she couldn’t as he was the Beta from the Nightshade pack. She was upset that I wasn’t happy for her. I asked her “What about our children?” to which she replied that she would stay for them. Jocelynn said she would reject him. For them… not for me, for them she was going to give up her mate. I was happy, but to be honest I would have never done that for her.

    That night as I laid in bed thinking of what to name my daughters, I felt her get up. I laid there and pretended to sleep. She went down to the first floor where guests stay and met him. His name was David. She led David out to the garden.

    I thought she was going reject him as he would be leaving tomorrow morning. I followed quietly because I want to witness my wife reject this man. But that is not what I witnessed at all.

    As soon as they were in the middle of the garden hidden from prying eyes. Our place, the place we conceived Jasper. She began to kiss him. Soon they were pulling each other’s clothes off. As I was just about to come unglued and jump out and kill both of them. She stopped him. Jocelynn stepped back out of breath and looked down at her belly and rubbed it.

    “I was supposed to reject you for them. But I can’t I already love you. I want to be with you. But not here. Tomorrow act as if I have rejected you. I will meet you within the week. I will let you know where to meet me.” She said in hushed tones.

    “My love it will be hard to act as if you have rejected me, but for you I will, I would do anything for you. You must leave your son tho. We cannot take the heir to the pack.” He said and I smiled.

    He was going to steal my mate and daughters but wasn’t so stupid as to take my son. She then let him kiss her again. I could smell her arousal for him from where I was. I don’t know how he wasn’t forcing her to mate right now. I left before she pulled away.

    No need to stay I knew their plan. As I walked back to my room while she was doing goddess knows what with David I was coming up with my plan. Couldn’t have done too much, because no sooner had I got into our room and laid down she walked in, her arousal filling the room.

    She laid down beside me and put her arm around my waist and began stroking my length. I guess she thought if I woke up and smelt her arousal, I’d have questions. I stopped her hand and said, “I can smell you and I know you want it baby, but I’m exhausted maybe tomorrow after the alpha’s leave.” She faked a pouty sound and rolled over. I’m sure she felt accomplished.

    The next morning after breakfast with me Jocelynn told me she was going to find the beta and reject him. I said ok. She then went out for about an hour. When she came back acting to be in pain, I left her in our room for the last meeting. As I walked into the meeting Beta David looked devastated.

    I almost felt bad, but then I remembered it was all fake. After the meeting and all had left, I went to ask my wife if she was ok. She said she would be fine. A week later I put my plan into place. I sent a letter from her and told him to meet at the pack boarder on the back side away from the town.

    I had our Omega Bethany give her a letter from David saying to meet him at the same place I had told him. I wanted them to meet I had a plan. Bethany gave her the letter saying her mate was on border patrol when someone gave him the letter to give to the Luna. He gave it to our omega Bethany, who brought it to Jocelynn. She fell for it.

    Bethany had no mate and had a thing for me. It was all set. They would meet at midnight in a place I had    made sure would be free of any warrior or other wolves. She packed a small backpack of photos and other things she found important.

    At 11:30 Jocelynn went to Jaspers room and kissed our sons sleeping little forehead and whispered that she would love to take him but couldn’t and that she would always love him. With that she left. Went down the stairs and out the back door.

    I then told anyone I saw on the way out the same way she went that we were going on a run just the two of us and we weren’t to be bothered unless it was an emergency. That was all it took for no one to question what was about to happen. She ran through the forest for the pack boundary.

    When they saw each other, they slowed down and started walking towards one another with lust filled eyes. They reached each other with a kiss. A kiss that turned into naked bodies entangled.

    After I heard her say mark me, I watched as he marked her over my mark and she in turn marked him. As they climaxed in pure bliss I waited patiently. When I heard the howl, I stepped from behind the tree with a laugh.

    “Dear Jocelynn, you thought I didn’t know?” I asked.

    “Oh goddess, Ronan what are you doing here?” She asked scared.

    David got up and was standing in front of her. My claws came out and ripped his chest to shreds. I ripped his heart out and threw it on the ground. My wonderful wife fell to his body and began to cry.

    “Kill me too. I don’t want to live. “She shouted through sobs.

    “Oh, I plan on you dying but not before my daughters are born. I have plans for you.” I said with a maniacal laugh.

    The rouge I had hired to fuck up the body of David stood by and watched. Just then my wife did something I didn’t expect. She took a poisoned silver dagger from her bag and said, “If I can’t have my daughters neither can you” and with that Jocelynn stabbed her stomach repeatedly. I let out a growl of pain.

    My little girls, this was not a part of the plan. I told the rouge to take the knife and slit her throat. He did as he was told, and I mind linked my beta Grayson and said we had been attacked. Then I killed that idiot rouge.

     When Grayson and back up arrived, they found me holding my wife’s dead body crying for my babies. It wasn’t an act. I was going to drug my wife until she had them and then have her killed. But I lost them.

    I told Grayson that we were out for a run and Beta David had came to try and talk to my wife because she had rejected him. And how while we were all talking the rouge had snuck up and stabbed our Luna and my daughters and while I was trying to save her, he got the better of David and killed him. He then tried to come for me, but I killed him with ease.

    That wasn’t a lie either. He wasn’t expecting it, so it was super easy. But I had lost my daughters and I was actually distraught. I want to turn back time. Why did the goddess let this happen? Why have I still not found a mate?

    And now here with the beautiful Graci in my office and she isn’t mine either. Will I ever have true love? I want Graci and since she isn’t my sons, and he did beg for her to be put on our floor as our omega. I think I can make her mine.

    I might see if her mate can be convinced to reject Graci and I’ll be there to pick up her broken heart. Maybe? I need to go back to my office and tell her the good news. I’ll have Bethany train her for the next two weeks. Then Bethany will be given a job elsewhere.
