The second I was out of school, I called Kathryn because I knew I had to talk to her. She was going to give me the best advice she could think of, but also tell it to me straight, something I desperately needed at this moment.
This was such a cluster f**k of a situation.
How did I not realize that he was going to be a professor? During our talk he did say something about being a professor. If I had been paying attention, I would’ve realized that we needed a new professor at our school, given that one had just left because of retirement.
