“The sonogram is tomorrow,” Robin told me during dinner.
It wasn’t a surprise to hear this. I knew it was going to happen, but I didn’t expect her to say something like this during dinner.
Regardless, I was able to go with the flow and accept what she was telling me.
I paused in mid-bite. “Do you require me to take you? I have a meeting at work, but I can get the time off if necessary.”
“No, it’s not necessary.”
My brows shot up. “It’s fine if you want me to go with you. I don’t mind.”
