It might’ve seemed a little sudden for me to want to have Robin to move in with me, but the fact was, I wanted her close by to keep an eye on her. She was going to be carrying my baby, and given the family business was geared towards more illegal activities, meant anything could happen.
Here, there was a security system, guards, and not to mention me. I would make sure that nothing was going to happen to her. She would be safe here.
It was obvious she didn’t want to move in, so I decided to sweeten the pot by offering her an advance. I had no idea why Robin needed the money, and frankly, it wasn’t any of my business. Whatever she did with the money was her f*****g business.
