I couldn't wait to arrive to Rage's pack, but I also felt nervous. He was wonderful, and all of his family so far had been nice to me, but what if the rest of the pack didn't like me because I was mute? I was still unable to feel my wolf, so I was no better than a human, and for a pack with so many powerful people, my weakness was definitely a con. I didn't want to get my hopes up only to discover than I wasn't welcome. I trusted that Rage and my sister would be with me and back me up, but I didn't want to put them in a difficult position if the rest of the pack resented my arrival.
