TONIs
Natural way???
I don't think I can. But, I have to try.
I'm desperate now.
"Toni? Is that you?"
I heard a familiar voice of a man, and I turned around to see my College friend, Jackson.
Jackson River, my frenemy. We used to compete back in College days whenever we have a building contest. Thankfully, and I always win over him. He's anyway always the second place.
What the hell is he doing here?
I thought he's in Japan. Then, why is he here?
Out of all places, why did we meet here?
He's approaching. Should I ignore him? Pretend that I didn't know him?
Gosh, I hate this man.
"I didn't expect to see you here, Toni. What are you doing here? Don't tell me you're sick," he told when he finally stood in front of me with one foot distance between us.
"What? Of course not. I'm here for a general check up. You, what are you doing here?" I calmly answered, and I quickly threw the question back at him so, he won't suspect a thing from me.
"Oh, I-I'm just here to visit a friend. He got admitted due to a fracture," he hesitantly replied.
I squinted my eyes as I suspect him. He's not good at telling lies.
"A friend? Really?" I questioned.
"I know that look, Toni. You're judging me already," he told, and he sighed as he surrendered to me. "Fine. It's my employee that fell to the building that I'm managing," he confessed, and he scratched the back of his head.
He knows me as well as I know him. And, I know that he's hiding something. He's stuttering whenever he's lying, and then, he will scratch the back of his head when he start to admit the truth.
"You never changed, Jackson," I stated, and I rolled my eyes at him.
"You got me," he mumbled, and he grinned cheekily.
I started to walk again, and he followed me.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"It's none of your business," I responded with no energy.
"You still don't change, Toni. When you're uninterested, you just push people away," he seriously mentioned.
I don't really care about other people.
"Well, you know me. Now leave me alone," I bluntly said, and I entered the elevator.
He followed, and he stood beside me.
"Are you free today? Let's have some early dinner. My treat," he offered.
He's getting into my nerves already.
"No," I plainly answered.
And when the elevator opened again, a lot of people get inside that pushes me at the back.
Déjà vu.
I, then, saw him stood in front of me and he faced me.
I looked up to him, and he looked down at me. We stared at each other for a moment but, I don't feel anything for him. Unlike the last time I was trapped here with a strange man.
"Sorry," he sincerely said while looking straight in my eyes.
But, I didn't say anything and I just shook my head uninterested.
"Hey," he called in a murmur.
I looked at him in the eyes again, waiting for him to say something because he called me.
"I-uh... Would you like to go out with me?" he nervously asked me out.
He has feelings for me, for real? But, I don't feel any romantic feelings towards him.
"It's a no, Jackson. Leave me alone, will you?" I straightforwardly stated.
Then, I heard a sound coming from the elevator meaning the door is opening so, I pushed him away from my face.
"Ouch," Jackson commented when something hit his head.
I immediately looked at the guy behind Jackson to see who it was but, I didn't see his face and just only his back that seems familiar.
Is that him?
If I would have to try the natural way, I would like to do it with him because he's the only man I found attractive. I just have to ask him in a nice way.
Approach him nicely.
Without caring about Jackson, I followed the man in a hurry.
"Excuse me! Excuse me! Janitor! Excuse me!" I hollered with a growl on my throat because he can't hear me for crying out loud.
He so walked to the right direction, and I noticed that we're the only one in the hallway.
"Excuse me, I'm talking to you! Janitor!" I yelled.
He finally stopped and faced me, though, he looked around to see if I'm talking to someone else.
"Me?" he wondered, pointing himself.
"Yes, you. I'm talking to you," I replied arrogantly, and I stood in front of him.
Just look at him.
He's the perfect candidate for my natural way to get pregnant.
He's tall. Masculine, as in he has a good physique. Not too thin, not too big. Just right. Handsome too. With a very pleasing personality just like when we were in an elevator.
"Yes...? What can I do for you, Ma'am?" he seriously questioned with confusion on his face.
He must be wondering now why I'm talking to him.
"You were the guy in the elevator last time, right?" I directly asked.
I saw his jaw tightened before he open his mouth.
"Apologies, Ma'am, for what I've done. That wasn't intentional. I just don't want you to scream that would surely cause for me to lost my job. I didn't mean anything about it," he replied with head held high.
Wait a minute...
He seems oddly familiar with that voice.
I stepped towards him to get a closer look at his face, which made his eyebrows collided in the middle.
"W-What are you doing?" he curiously questioned.
"You are oddly familiar. Your voice..." I mumbled, and my eyes widened when I suddenly recalled the man I fired before because of my door that fell. "Zion! Zion Rilo?" I gasped in surprised.
Oh, yes, it's him. He just had a new haircut. Why I didn't recognize him sooner?
"Do I know you?" he asked, and he took one step back away from me.
"Don't you remember me? I'm Toni Wayman. The CEO of Tri-Way company. The... one that fired you just because of the door that fell but honestly, it wasn't you. It was my secretary all along, and because of that I fired her. I admit that I wasn't listening to you and you were telling the truth that time. I didn't give you the benefit of the doubt. I apologize for accusing you without any proof. But, I called you that time when I found out the truth. Why didn't you answer?" I sincerely spoke.

ZIONs
You've got to be kidding me.
She's the woman that I kissed in the elevator and in the bar.
I kissed the CEO. The arrogant, gorgeous CEO.
But she looks different. She's look like a terror boss when she's at work, and look like a princess when she's off work wearing all girly dresses that really compliment her beauty.
Damn, what am I thinking?
I cleared my throat when I woke up from daydreaming.
"I left the City since there's no opportunity for me there. And that's why I'm here," I pridefully answered.
"Aren't you coming back? Because I would like to take you back. I want you back," she sincerely offered me my job again.
To be honest, her offer is tempting but, the debtors we're there so, it's a no. I don't want to see them again.
"Sorry, but, I'm going to decline your offer. I'm working just fine here. So, if you excuse me, and if you don't mind, I have a work to do," I rejected her, even though, I really need money for my sister's medication and education.
There's more opportunities out there anyway. And, I started to walk away.
"Hold on," she grabbed my arm when she stopped me.
What a stubborn woman.
I looked down on her, and then, to her hand that is still on my arm with a glare.
"Listen, I know you still have a grudge feelings towards me but, I need your help. And, I think you're the only one that could help me," she seriously said.
She needs my help? Is she serious?
"Zion! Zion! Are you there?!"
I heard a voice, and I know that's from Fred.
I don't want him to see that I'm talking to a woman.
So, I wondered my eyes to look for a hide out when I see the door for the emergency exit. Therefore, I pulled her inside with me.
"Hey, hey. Where are you taking me?" she asked in panic while she is trying to shove my hands away.
But, I didn't say anything and I pushed her to the corner, beside the door. Then, I put my right hand on her mouth to quiet her while I shushed her with my left index finger on my lips.
She became quiet on my command, and we stared at each other for a moment although it's a little bit dark in our place. I, so, slowly removed my hand on her mouth.
"You need my help? Really?" I queried, going back to our topic and ignoring the fact that my heart is stomping out of my chest right now.
Being near her is bad for my heart. I've never felt this way before.
"Yes. Look, I know I've been harsh to you. And, I'm sorry for that. I really am sorry for accusing you without listening to you. But, I badly need your help," she admitted with sincerity on her eyes.
"Now you need my help? Why me out of all people? I'm not rich. I'm not like you. I couldn't help you in any way," I commented, and I took a step back from her to put space between us.
"Listen..." she spoke when she straightened her back looking at me. "my uterus is expiring. I'm turning 33 this year, and this is my only chance to get pregnant. I know that it sounds delusional but, I'm really desperate now. I need someone to make me pregnant. It's just a one time thing. Don't worry, you won't held responsible to me or to the child if we ever produce something, and I will pay you 10 billion dollars in exchange for your service."
"What? What one time thing?" I commented, and I took another two steps away from her.
She's crazy.
What is she saying? What do she think of me?
"A one night together. Zion, please," she pleaded, and she stepped towards me with those puppy eyes.
Don't fall for it, Zion. Don't you dare.
She's just using you.
"No," I rejected her again.
"Please, Zion," she begged, and she pulled my uniform to stop me from going away from her.
"I'm not some gigolo," I angrily said, while removing her hands off me.
To be continued...
