The day after her shopping spree, I took her to Disney World. The day after that, I took her to Universal Studios. My girl has never been out of Ohio, she’s never experienced these theme parks and to her surprise, neither have I.
She was stunned when she found out that although I’ve been around the world, I’ve never gone to an amusement park. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
On our third day, we went to the beach that was next to my condo.
“This place is so beautiful and I love the weather. Even if it is really hot and humid, I like it way better than Ohio,” she said.
“Do you?”
She nodded. “I’m not fond of the cold or snow. But I never thought about leaving.”
“Why?”
“Because before I found out you were my guardian angel, I thought how would you find me if I moved?”
