Lyla I slept like the dead the whole way to the ranch, and then I was a little dizzy from lack of food. So Conner and Kellen checked us in with the woman that ran the ranch. They fed me, and then we went for a walk. It was pretty, not hot, not too cold, that crisp autumn air. The trees were pretty, with yellow, red and orange leaves with a mix of green here and there. It was definitely sweater weather yesterday. Today it wasn’t though. I had woken up from a nightmare. Luckily, I didn’t wake Conner and Kellen. I slipped out of bed and put on a long sleeve white shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. I put on my hiking boots and left to walk by myself in the quiet. The weather was perfect. Birds chirped, there was a slight breeze that rustled the leaves, but it was still quiet.
