“How has all this happened to you?” Josh asked. He and his mother arrived three days after everything went down.
“What can I say, I’m just irresistible,” I said jokingly. He gave me a dead panned look.
“You left me for a week, and you were kidnapped, abused, and you became some sort of badass? At least your wound is healing,” he grumbled as he checked me out.
