LUCIAN’S POV
A shaky breath left my lips as she fell unconscious against my arms. How could someone so innocent turn so…evil-like? Was this what being a half-demon did to a person?
“So what now?” Peggy spoke, letting go of the piece of wood she had used to hit her. It had been a risky move but she would have killed Ian if we had hesitated.
