The group of four sped all the way towards the construction site which was on the outskirts of the village. The building was supposed to be a guest house , where travellers and visitors could stay for a few days that Charles had started to build, but the work somehow got halted. Charles had started it’s work when he married Adira. So Adira was able to guess that it might be the same place.
Austin parked some distance away, within the trees of the woods so that they could prepare well in secret. They armed themselves with pistols and knives. Adira’s heart thumped hard the whole time. She was going to save her mother from the evil clutches of Charles. She had to do it right. She just couldn’t afford to make a single mistake.
