Narrator By the time Adira and her friends reached the village area it was almost morning. She barely slept the whole night in her excitement. She felt her heart beat faster and faster as she saw how the scenery had changed from the tall sky scrappers of the city to trees that different heights that lined along the road side. The faint red and orange colour that filtered through the sky indicated that it was almost time for a new day to begin. Still the stars twinkled in the sky, decorating the whole night. Adira felt a weird sensation of nostalgia. This was the kind of environment she grew up in. She couldn't wait for them to arrive at her village. Perhaps she could catch a glimpse of her parents. Perhaps she could walk around her neighbourhood. Maybe she could even visit her house.
