Lucy held the knife against Mr. Zion's side as they walked out of the cabin and onto the deck.
"Go make the announcement, now!" she snapped, then shoved him aside and, without hesitation, jumped off the side.
There was a loud splash, and then the ocean quickly went still again.
Mr. Zion pressed the wedding dress scrap Lucy had shoved into his hand against his bleeding wound.
